6 months out update

I'm 6 months out from surgery today, so I thought I'd check in with my stats.  I'm down 96.6lbs.  I'm at 82.5% of my first goal, 76% of what my doctor feels is my excess weight and will most likely be my final goal. (although I noticed last time the height they have for me is incorrect, I'm an inch taller).  I'm 5'6, 32 years old, my BMI is 27.5.  My weight loss has started to slow down, but I'm working out more, getting at least a gallon of water a day, and upping my protein on average of 100g a day, and I stay around 600 calories.  I wear a size 10 or a medium, down from a 20 in pants and XL in tops.  I have been able to shop in my own closet, my credit card bill is growing bc I've rediscovered my love of shopping, I'm no longer hiding from photos or events, and I feel pretty great generally.  I know I'm still very early out, but I'm so thankful for this surgery and everything I've learned on OH.  Here are my monthly numbers if you like that sort of thing.  Happy Monday!

M1: 20lbs

M2: 19lbs

M3: 12lbs

M4: 14lbs

M5: 9.2lbs

M6: 9.6lbs

Aww thanks so much!  I'm actually contemplating getting a pair of skinny jeans.  I think I might indeed be losing my mind :)

I will if I don't decide I look like a train wreck.  My legs are built like tree trunks.  I joke with my hubs all the time that I was built to squat over a hole in some field and give birth (birthing hips & really muscular legs) ;)

I can't believe a 96 lbs loss is 6 months????....................That is excellent........awesome job!  I hope at 6 months I will be on here posting my progress and it is that great............heck I'd be thrilled even close to that.

I'm hoping to lose 100 lbs in 12 months........if lost anywhere near that in 6, I'd be dancing a jig!

Keep up the good work and posts, you are an inspiration to we newbies!

Thanks!  I just keep plugging along, making mistakes and hopefully learning something from them.  I'm really lucky to have a great support system, as well :)
