Supplements...Whatchya Takin'?
Since I started working out I have been taking several supplements in addition to my regular protein shakes. Here is a list of what I take. Please let me know if you are taking something I am not and why you take it. I am shopping for a new multi-vitamin so I am taking suggestions.
In no particular order:
Flax Oil 1 tbsp
CLA - 1500mg Krill Oil - 500mg Garlic Powder 350mg Green Tea Extract 725mg ALA - 250mg Vitamin D - 2000 IU Biotin - 5000mcg Astaxanthin - 4mg Policosanol - 20mg 4 multi vitamin gummies, which has: Vit A C D E Niacin B6 Folic Acid B12 Biotin Pantothenic Acid Chromium Molybdenum choline inositol lutein boron i am thinking of adding CoQ10 and some sort of pre work out drink.on 4/18/13 2:19 pm
I do Milk Thistle as was recommended to me by my trainer. Also I added in Dandelion Root.
i take prenatal vitamins 1 in the morning one at night ..... calcium citrate pills 4 a day ...D Drops 2 a day as well , the gummy multivitamins i was told have very low vitamins in it not really sure how low but i was told there enough for people who may risk lacking in some vitamins maybe do some research on it as im not completely sure but i was told for me personally a womans vitamin or prenatal
I take the following daily:
B12 500 mg sublingual
multivitamin (centrum type)
folic acid 800 mg
Vitamin A (vitalady's dry 25,000 iu) because I was low on my 3m labs
Vitamin D3 (also vitalady's dry but can't recall how many iu) because I was also borderline
calcium citrate 1200 mg in 3 doses
krill oil
milk thistle
