So far so good!!

Day 2 was spent in the hospital until 8pm. It was a tough day. The gas pain started to hit around 3am and despite A LOT of walking it wouldn't budge. It was quite painful, but it finally started to release after dinner. I think the shake helped (I was released to full liquids). I was in "bed" by 10pm. I slept in a recliner. I slept pretty well. I woke up around 3am and took a Percocet..

It's Day 3 and I feel good! Stumbled up at 7:30. Been drinking Isopure and water all day - ice cold seems to be better for me. Been tolerating all my meds and vitamins. Been doing 10 min walking stints on the treadmill. Haven't had a Percocet since 3am. I did take some children's Tylenol late this morning. And I took a shower this afternoon. That felt amazing!

Hope all my newly sleeved friends are doing well.

Thanks!!! I can't believe how awake I feel. I really thought I'd be more tired.

I am so happy you are doing well! Wow you are good by taking your vitamins day 3. I didn't start till day 8. I was scared. :) Keep it up, you seem very motivated and your doing great!

Thanks, Jillian! I was a bit nervous taking meds before bed last night. The first try I ended up spitting it out, but hubs came over to help me chill out. Got them all down, no problem. It felt to actually sleep!!

Glad to hear your doing well. I'm one day ahead of you. Night after surgery was a rough one for me. After changing to really cold liquids things have gotten much easier. No incision pains, no need for pain meds, just Tylenol. It's awesome to be on the other side now.
