One week post-op & amazed!
Officially one week post-op and down nearly 18 lbs since surgery. And I feel amazing. I feel like I'm bragging and feel badly for those that aren't having a similar experience, but I've had no problem getting in fluids or protein. In fact, I find myself slowing down with my water to make sure I'm not taking in more than 8oz in an hour.
I'm walking twice a day for about 20 min each session. I'm working up a sweat. Hell, at over 300 lb you work up a sweat changing the channel. LOL!
I know another reason I feel so great is there is no cr@p entering my body (well, except for the sucralose in the protein drinks). No yucky carbs , no sugar, no disgusting fats, no processed junk, etc...
And even had an NSV of sorts today. I went to the spa to pick up some product and my esthitician said that my skin has never looked better.
So if you are on the fence, don't be. It was my first surgery ever and I'm thrilled!

, join MFP (My Fitness Pal) to log your foods, and start therapy if you haven't already (food issues can be tough!).
Peace!!!!
