Going out of town - DIFFICULT!

I just went on a cruise. I called ahead they said they would confiscate all liquids except 2 bottles of wine. I told them I needed my protein shakes for medical reasond. They suggested getting a dr's. note. So my dr. Emailed me a note. I was able to bring my RTD protein shakes. 

You may want to go ahead & get your dr. To write you a note so you'll be prepared. 

Good suggestions! My trip was somewhat of a last minute so I didn't think it would be much of an issue until I was already there. Lesson learned is from now on I need to look into all of that before hand so that I'm ready for these types of situations. Good thing is that the further post op I am the easier it will get.

Yes, Dr. Aceves gave me a card that I can show at restaurants that states I had WLS. Did Yolanda give you a blue folder with information? It should've been in there.

By the way, how are you doing?

Hmm, I have a blue folder. I guess I need to go through it and look again.

I am doing well. Anxious to get to later eating stages, but trying to be patient :)
