I did 50 body weight squats in my morning workout. 

I did 40 squats with a 135lb barbell on my shoulders in my afternoon workout. 

I strained my lower back on my last two reps so I am hurting right now because I got lax with my form.

I will probably never do squats due to knee issues.  I cycle a ton, though, so get some crossover benefit.

Same here - no weight lifting during cycling "season."  Weights is for the winter :).  Doing a 200k race on Saturday with 20 hill climbs - I think that covers me :)

If you have knee issue than you want to do more of a Sumo squat. I have bone on bone issue in my left knee but regularly do a minimum of 150 squats a day making sure to do correct form and have had no issue with my knee. My quads on the other hand are solid as a rock now and I can hold a wall sit for 10 minutes. Squats are my friend, burpees are my enemy. LOL

Yes, I did and my ass is killing me.  My new kettlebell class is hardcore, and I think the instructor might be trying to kill me. :)
