Dang it, I so want to respond to this, it always makes me itch, but I don't have time, I have a client in 30 min. and I just finished doing my workout.  Argh...  I bet by the time I come back Macmadame will have already put you in your well deserved place, (I am kidding, I am kidding).  :)   If she hasn't found you by the time I come back, I am going to clean your clock.    :)

I've got about fifty years of research ready to throw your way, have your reading glasses handy.  :)

I think you are misunderstanding me. I am saying it exists but nobody on here is actually hitting it and everyone on here needs to stop using is as an excuse or a reason for one behavior or another.

You can't on one hand say we conserve water but don't conserve fat.

It's a good thing you set me straight, you should have seen the ton of research I had compiled to drown you in on this one.  :)  Of course, the best response, in my opinion, can be found on Marie's blog at fattyfightsback.  It actually has all the research right there.

Interesting points that remind me of a book I just finished reading called, "Why Calories Count."  If you're looking to expand your knowledge on these issues, it's a pretty good read.  A little scientific, but will satisfy your tastes for more...also, not another diet book.  I'm thinking some of you have probably already read it :-)
