I just want to eat!
Hang in there! I know how you feel and I'm only 7 weeks out. Although I've been at the eating healthy thing for over 7 months, once in awhile it gets to me. The head hunger I had yesterday was crazy. My husband and I traveled to Ohio and the only option for dinner was Subway. I got a chicken bacon sandwich and just only ate the chicken, cheese, and bacon. I actually had to ask my husband to take the flatbread away from me because I wanted it so badly. Then, he wanted to go to Cold Stone Creamery. While we walked back to the hotel he was eating birthday cake ice cream and it actually made me cranky and in a bad mood. It's so frustrating that food can have this much of a hold over us!
I'm feeling better today... I'm hoping that you do as well! Hang in there!

One of the things that has helped me, when faced with foods that I think I would like to eat, I ask myself, "Is it worth it." Most of the time it isn't worth it. Another thing I tell myself, is that I can have anything that I want, but I am making the choice not to eat the food item at this point in time. This puts me in control, not food, and takes away the feeling of deprivation. Seriously, we all make choices, and hopefully , we will make the healthier choice.

Yep that happens sometimes. Earlier this week, I also had a couple of days where I forgot to eat.
When I'm having a day like yours I tend to try to feed the need with water first. I try to up my water goal by 2-3 cups. Then I only eat something when I've finished with the water for that part of the day. I also try to add in a little fat. I might have some raw veggies, but eat them with regular salad dressing or some hummus as dip. Maybe add another 10-20 grams of protein into the day.
I do find that when I have an eating day, my calories tend to go up a little (maybe 100 calories).

I am so glad to here you vent,, have been following your post and almost felt like you where invincible and I could never be as goal minded as you! specially with exercising. thanks for sharing! You have great posts!
When I have a head hunger day like that I find that eating an ounce of teriyaki beef jerky helps me. It takes a long time to chew and satisfies the cravings I get. The upside is that it's only 5 carbs, 80 calories and a bonus of 14 gms protein!! I buy the big bags, weigh out 1 oz servings in ziplocs and then seal them back in original bag (it stays fresher that way). Then instead of grazing or grabbing chips when I just want to gnaw on something I grab a bag out. Even just a half oz helps me with the hunger cravings. Good luck!
"It's all the squats!" Just kidding!

That happens to me too. One day or even for a few days I will be ravenous but this is usually followed by not wanting to eat at all. I have learned to go with it and that's why I have a calorie range rather than a calorie goal per day. Some days are just hungry days and others are not. I don't really know why, but it seems to balance out just fine.
I am glad you are good to go today.
