Someday
I am much stronger and the skin issues that were minor, but still visible on my upper arms are history as of a few months ego. My back has definition and my stomach has a very light four pack outline. I am still working on building up thighs and butt, but I have not given up. More squats later today, along with a few pushups.
ok, i'll be real too. I am not exercise junkie. I hate every minute of it. It hurts, my triceps have been sore for 3 days now from an Orange Theory Class and I could barely do my normal work out. That being said, I exercise because it gets the fat off my body faster. Once I put my mind to something I GET 'ER DONE!
I did some math this morning to determine if my target is really where I want to be or should I lower it. I figured out that based on my current percentage of body fat and percentage of muscle. I have a machine that measures them both, hopefully with some ballpark accuracy. I figured out that my skin, bones, blood and guts weighs about 80lbs. I currently have about 75lbs of muscle, the rest is fat, right now sitting at 28.2% of my body weight. I had originally set a goal of 184 which would put me at around 16% body fat. I sort of rationalized that I would rather be at 14% body fat (10 would be great, but hey I am not jack lalange). So I really need to shoot for 180 and that is if I only add a little bit more muscle. So I have about 36/37lbs to lose. Which in the grand scheme of things is not that much. But we all know the last few are the hardest.
The only thing I didn't factor in to all of my calculation is how much the chunk of skin under my chin, on each thigh, the 45 shar pei wrinkles I have for an ass right now, and the glop of blubber around my mid section might weigh.
So you see, I still have some work to do.
