Go grab a kitchen chair set your feet on both sides of the front legs, bend you knees forward sit down and as soon as your butt touches stand up quickly. Do it 10 times then go for a 15 min walk around your neighborhood. Total time will be 20 mins. No excuses.
Thanks Keith....i had a super busy work week and was looking forward to just some R & R, but you have inspired me to do the squats and the 15 min walk...probably 30 min., i just didnt have the umph to get up and go to the gym, but your 20 min. workout was just the motivation i needed. It is so cool to hear that your whole family is involved in your 5K. Have fun!!!
I did my elipitical today 1/2 hr and I was stinkin' thinkin' thru about the first 10. Minutes, I don't wanna do this, I was out late last nite, my thighs hurt, my calves hurt...whine, whine, whine...blah blah blah...then something you posted popped in my head about excuses and only hurting myself in the end, by lying to myself and not doing it...and i did it ..I completed the task where in the past I would have quit!!
The evil voices in my head didn't win today!!!
