I've been looking for a moisturizer alternative because right now everything OTC is reacting with my skin and causing rashes, etc.   I've got a jar of coconut oil in my pantry - I'm going to bust that out tonight and give it a whirl!

What I like to do is warm it up slowly so it returns to liquid state, toss into my stand mixer, add a touch of orange oil and whip it until it's fluffy.  Then you can store it in a glass jar.  Make sure it's a glass jar though.

Enjoy!!!!

I have been using coconut oil for a while.  I like to make a body scrub with the oil and some used coffee grounds from starbucks.  it helps bring blood to my skin surface and exfoliate.  I have also left the oil in my hair for hours and had really soft hair.

I have some very high quality organic virgin coconut oil, and need to be cooking with it more!  This stuff is used when one is on the HCG diet.
