Are You Mental?
You don't have to look like that. You have to be healthy and strong. That should be your goal. Feeling as good as you can make yourself feel. I don't know about you, but I know I felt like crap most of my life and yes I may be sore a couple times a week, but I can jump off the couch and go run 3 miles any time I want to now. Before I couldn't walk to the mailbox without breaking a sweat.
Good point Keith. I was in the same place as you. I can't run 3 miles all at once, but I can walk and run it. Such a huge improvement. I can get through an entire boot camp session or Jazzercise session with circuit training- yeah I break a sweat but I am not huffing and puffing, i can talk if I need to during the workout and I feel great! I am looking great too! There, I said it. That is huge for me!
Last week I couldn't jump on this 13 inch box with both of my feet at the same time. The trainer said that it's because I didn't believe I can do it and/or I was picturing myself falling. Next time I try this I hope I succeed. Thanks for your inspiration Keith!!

If you only hope you leave open the possibility of failure. Visualize yourself from now until then leaping up on to that box and feeling proud and excited that you are in charge of what you and your body can do. And if you do fail, get up and try it again. The worst thing that can happen is you get a bruise or two and those heal.
