protein powder on clear liquid?

I ordered the roadside lemonade nectar protein powder and it came in today, the day before my surgery when I am instructed to only do clear sugar free liquids, popsicles, and jellos. Since the protein is sugar free and carb free would it be ok or since it is milk protein based is it off limits until full liquids?

Nectar should be fine. It's just whey protein which is what most protein drinks have in them anyway.

i was able to use my regular protein powder with silk almond milk on my clear liquid on the 1st week...

My liquid diet allowed protein shakes with skim milk. It was on my surgeon's recommendation list.
