This sounds like a good base recipe that you could add stuff to. Different extracts like coconut as well as shredded coconut could make this taste like an almond joy, plus this has great fiber. I may try this and add psyllium husk for even more.

Could be a tasty treat and I certainly need the fiber, but wow only 5 grams of protein and 197 calories. Am I reading that right? When I eat a Quest bar for 170-210 calories I know I am getting carbs but also 20 grams protein.

consult weight 241 (had not been accurately weighed for over 10 years, my medical records just said "wheelchair") high weight was probably closer to 260.

It looks like they used rice protein in the original recipe, whey isolate would give you a lot more, plus you could add more powder too. That's why I said good base recipe also just a. Good formula. I would also probably use unsweetened almond milk instead of water. If you look on the quest site the pretty much tell you what goes in it. You can use this basic recipe and swap out ingredients to make then more like quest bars.
