OT--School starts tomorrow!

My "baby" is starting Transitional Kindergarten (like Jr. K, CA offers it for kids who have late fall bdays since they are in the process of moving the Kinder cutoff back to Sept. 1) tomorrow.  I keep telling myself it's not "real" Kindergarten but it's all day, 5 days a week, so it feels pretty real.  My daughter is starting 2nd grade, and I'm heading off after I get them into their classrooms to the first day of students at my new job as a School Librarian at a nearby high school. 

Big day around here!  Hope I can make it without tears--my son already commented (when we were reading The Night Before Kindergarten) that he didn't want any crying moms and dads outside his class, lol!

I feel for you, that's going to be emotional and a bit hard.  I am going to miss my kids big time.  I love spending time with them all Summer long and then I miss them like crazy all day and count the minutes until I can pick them back up.  My oldest is going to 7th grade and my youngest is starting fourth grade. They grow up way too fast. 

I know how you feel.  My "baby" is starting kindergarten in two weeks and I can't believe it.  Everyone always says the time flies by.  I didn't quite believe it with having two babies about a year apart.  But now I'm like - where did they go?
