Need a Kick in the Butt

Well still haven't gotten back down to my pre-vacation weight yet, but in all fairness I took a week off from working out to clear up a chest cold which is now about 95% gone. I have been so bad abou****er for the past two weeks and I can't remember the last time I took a vitamin or a supplement. I have done pretty well with food just seem to have slipped on some of the other basics. Two other things I have noticed have slipped is that I am not chewing very well and I am eating fast. I also don't always eat protein first. It's almost like I need a checklist when I sit down to eat.

Somebody Yell at Me!

Oh that's right, Private Keith, don't make any ******g effort to get to the top of the ******g obstacle. If God would have wanted you up there he would have miracled your ass up there by now, wouldn't he?

My apologies to R. Lee Ermey.

LOL. At least I don't owe you for one jelly donut. Are you going to make me march around with my pants around my ankles sucking my thumb? Cuz I'll do it.

Now THAT is a mental picture that I'm not going to be able to get out of my head all day

I'll leave the serious ass-kicking to the vets that know you best.   My suggestion:  sit down and make a schedule, write down the times you'll take your supplements, drink your water and then refer to the schedule office and DO IT!  You're missing your routine and have upset your normal rhythm.  You need to force yourself back into that rhythm and a written schedule that you can visually see will help.

Not at all, a quote from one of my favorite all time movies was perfect! I may just go watch that movie now. At least you don't have to worry about a bullet to the chest.

OK, this is MY opinion....Do with it as you please....

seems to me your semi-regular indulgences are happening enough that they really should be considered part of your program....not that there is anything wrong with it... to think they are not is doing yourself a disservice.

Suck it up buttercup... you cannot and likely will not ever handle the strict rigid Do as I say do program that others tout around here....and again, nothing wrong with that....do what YOU do and make it work for you without all of the excuses & guilt trips associated with it...

you liek beer...Drink the damn beer...
you like carbs, eat the damn carbs...

then make it fit into your goals.... for example, if it is one weekend per month, then thats called moderation... kick caloric ass for the 3 weeks and kick exercise ass TWICE on the "indulgence" week.
