Interesting Change
So after my requested butt kicking earlier this week I have been very diligent in getting in my water and vitamins. Still working on the eating slower and protein first although I realized a lot of my problem with this is that I make a lot of combined dishes (like turkey taco salad) so that the veggies and meat are mixed. But when I eat like steak or something I actually do focus on the protein, so I may not have been as bad as I thought in this respect.
Anyway back to the interesting change. I have noticed that i have skipped my snack that I usually have between breakfast and lunch and that my lunch has been much later than normal. This is because I changed WHEN I take my vitamins. It occurred to me that I was trying to take my vitamins after lunch and the reason I was missing them is that I had to wait until my lunch passed and by then I was full on into work. Now I take them after I drink my breakfast. The protein shake goes through much faster than a lunch meal does so I can take them shortly after. But they apparently take a bit longer to digest than food. I find that I am not hungry until early to mid afternoon. Serious Bonus! This allows me to cut out or redistribute around 100 calories or so per day.
