Should of been quiet from the beginning

I had to tell a few co-workers myself (because we eat lunch together and spend a lot of time together so it would have been obvious). One of the co-workers tried his best to talk me out of the procedure saying I wasn't big enough to need it (I am morbidly obese). Now that I had the surgery 3 weeks ago he says I am just 'wasting away'. I mean really??? 3 weeks and I'm wasting away! I know it is his projecting his stuff on to me because he has diabetes is obese and talks a lot about his issues with food. I just tell him 'thanks for feeling comfortable to share your thoughts about me' and move on. Hopefully he will quit soon.
