I'm baaack! Vacation in photos (Miami & Key West)
So, I took my first vacation with my daughter. In true only child/total baby fashion, my mama came with us (I also love traveling with her, and she needed a vacation too). I'm not a fan of Miami (I'm from the Tampa Bay area in FL, so I have certain expectations of FL), but I really loved Key West. I will definitely be back. The roosters are hilarious, I found a fabulous coffee truck, the people are extraordinarily nice and laid back, just an all around, fabulous place to vacation. Traveling with my daughter was much easier than expected. She is just an amazing little toddler, and I'm so thankful she seemed to really enjoy herself because I really want to take her all over the world.
Sooo, I didn't eat on plan the entire time. I knew this going in. I got a lot of activity in, but I didn't actually "exercise." I ate the things I wanted, but the things were usually pretty good for me. I did drink, but it was moderate (ie the max was two glasses of wine one night). All in all, not too bad. I was also sick the entire time, and I'm still recovering. Hoping tomorrow I will feel right as rain and be back to kickboxing. My daughter gave me the plague, apparently. LOL.
Some random things - some nice German man told me I looked 18 when I was carded for alcohol and I laughed, I have no issue wearing a bathing suit anywhere or even being photographed in one, I have so much more energy even when sick, I'm so much stronger than I was, feeling comfortable with myself physically makes me a much better traveler (I actually want to go out and do everything), even though I wasn't a fan of Miami I had a really awesome vacation which I think is directly related to just feeling better about myself in this moment. I'm so thankful for this surgery for so many reasons.
Here are some photos!

Amazing coffee!
And my NSV for the trip - this isn't a doctored photo. I'm actually this thin! Those jean shorts are size 2 (vanity-sized, but ******g hell!), that top is an xs. I look at this photo, and I can't believe it's actually me.
Um, please excuse the heck out of me but HOLY **** GURL, you are FrEaKiNg BEAUTIFUL & look absolutely AMAZING!!!!
I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed yourself to the fullest & still stayed focused. You rock gurl, for reals. I just love you to pieces and cannot wait to see you in a couple months!!!!

WWBD?
I wanted to go to conference soooo badly but I have a wedding that weekend :( I'm so sad I can't meet you guys!
Anyway, you look DAMN FABULOUS!!!! I wish my legs would ever be that thin!!!
band to sleeve revision and loving life!
You do you, and I'll do me
My legs were the last to get smaller. I definitely have larger legs and calves, but I can finally wear almost all knee high boots (this was a big goal of mine) :) I think that wedding needs to get rescheduled bc it would be so awesome if you could be at the conference. I would love to meet you in person. However, I will have to be in NYC some time in the spring so we will definitely be meeting up then!
I've always been bottom heavy and my thighs are just heinous. I'm gonna need plastics to make them smaller but I'm not thinking about that now. I wish the wedding would move too so I could meet Jenn! BUT, I am SUPER excited to hear that you'll be making an NYC trip!!! Keep me updated FOR SURE!
