So I have been cravings Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I have been stalking Pinterest for a few days and found a recipe for a Philly cheesesteak sloppy joes. I used that recipe and added a few things of my own to the mix. Put the mixture in a whole mushroom, covered it in Provolone and baked them! Holy cow they are yummy! MFP gave me 141 calories, 6 carbs, and 12 protein for two mushrooms. I don't know how to add a pic to this post or I would show you guys!

Philly Sheesesteak Stuffed Mushrooms sounds good. I never had a Philly Cheeseseak Sandwhich before. I wonder if it tastes good. The Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes I never heard of before in my life, but I did have Sloppy Joes before, but hadn't had them in a long time. The recipe sounds good. I bet they are yummy.

I think the way you can add pictures to a post is to "copy" the picture then "paste" the picture to the post all by right clicking the mouse key with the arrow ouver the picture. Hope this helps you out.

Ok...... Most of the stuff was just to taste.. But I will give you the recipe that I found.....
1 lb ground sirloin
1 green pepper chopped
1 onion chopped
2 T A-1 sauce( I did more like 2 1/2)
1 cup of beef stock( I accidentally bought beef broth, so I added a little bit of beef gravy mix to amp up that flavor)
Salt and pepper to taste( I used seasoning salt)
Things I added...
3 T Worcestershire Sauce
Mushrooms from where I cored them (chopped)
2 T minced garlic
Greek Yogurt/ cream cheese mixture.. I added this for protein
Provolone cheese slices
White mushrooms, cored... Make sure to remove all gills

Cook ground beef a little, add the veggies... Cook a little... Add garlic... Cook a little... Salt and pepper.... Once ground beef is done and veggies are almost translucent add the beef stock, A-1 and Worcestershire sauce. Let it cook down until hardly any liquid is in skillet.( I added too much salt so be careful with that).

I already had the mushrooms cored.. I rubbed them down a little with some EVOO and salt(very small amounts ). I took out enough mixture to fill 8 mushrooms and added the cream cheese/ Greek yogurt combo... Just a little. Then stuffed the mushrooms. Put the provolone cheese on top and baked it on 375 for about 15-20 minutes.

I reali e some things are a bit vague, but I tasted the meat as it was cooking according to my taste. There are tons of substitutions that could be made to make it lower calorie. Turkey instead of beef, all Greek yogurt, low fat provolone.

This sounds delicious thanks for sharing! I live 25 mins from Philly and the cheesesteak is huge in our area and something we take very seriously lol. It's a religion 'round these parts!
