What's Your Workiut Today VSGers? - Labor Day!
Today is chest and shoulder day for me. After that I will go right into my HIIT run to get my two workouts out of the wy and then puppy has been couped up with several days of crappy weather so I will either take her for a long walk or to the dog park later as it looks like we might have good weather today.
I am on a cardio kick. I did 48 minutes on the treadmill at the gym this morning (bummed they only opened half a day today). 2.5 miles varying speed and varying inclines.
I am so changed from the way I used to be. When I would go to the gym before I would do the minimum and find every excuse to just cut out and leave. I would say I only have to do 20 minutes, then I would maybe do 15 minutes and say, it is better than nothing. NOW I say at least 30 minutes, but I usually end up talking myself into 45-60 minutes and if I didn't have people waiting for me, might go longer. Lately I have found I have to cut it off at around 45 minutes because my legs are getting weak and I get shaky around the 40 minutes mark. I figure I just have to work up my stamina.
