I hate the Premier Protein RTD, expecially the chocolate.  I have yet to find an RTD that I like, although I use clear Isopure RTD all the time for the great stats.  I didn't like the taste at all in the beginning, but have found two flavors I like and I just ordered my third case of each flavor yesterday.  And at 40 grams of protein and 0 carbs, you can't beat it.

Isopure has the best stats, but personally, I think it's revolting.

I thought Premier Protein vanilla and chocolate tasted good, but they upset my stomach due to the lactose (whey protein concentrate).

I've found premier to be OK. My husband drink Muscle Milk...I think it tastes like plastic but he's fine with it.

While everyone likes Premier, Costcos aren't oh so very prevalent in the NYC area, so it depends on where he lives, has a car and if not, does he want to lug a case of those around via cab or subway?

Honestly, he's best off ordering something and having it delivered. I liked the Oh Yeah RTD shakes when I wanted one. and you used to be able to order samples from their website.

There are lots actually:

Muscle Milk Light

Oh Yeah!

IsoPure (flavor by flavor some are azz and some are ok)

PureProtein Pro 50

LeanProtein

Have him go into a Vitamin Shoppe, they have cooler cases with singles in there and he can buy a couple to try and then when he finds what he like he can shop for the best case price.
