I ran the ZooMiami 5K this morning in 30:11 (12 seconds shy of my goal). I ran a 9:43 pace, new goal is an 8:00 pace.

45 minutes on the elliptical this am at my target fat burning heart rate. I forgot my Polar at home, so I had to estimate my calories burned. MFP pegged me at 485 based on previous entries.

Walk with puppies later. Otherwise a rest day. If you dont include laundry, vacuuming, dishes, moving furniture around as my son is moving back in after a split with the girlfriend. Was going to mow, but its been misting all morning.
So, yeah...a rest day.

My trainer has me doing 15 minutes on the stair machine on Sundays. So I did that, then 5 minutes on the elliptical (I have a huge aversion to elliptical machines - they feel awkward and scary to me - so I am forcing myself to do 5 minutes almost every day to get use to them).

Then I did an hour of gentle dancing and stretching with friends. Now I am looking at at least 2 hours of deep cleaning my apartment. Lots of activity today.

I'm on a rest day after 2 nights lasting til after 2am... both with over 6miles of walking.  I am sore and exhausted, so I am cooking and cleaning all day!

  I'm not where I want to be, but I am closer than I was yesterday!
