Was away from the laptop most of the day today and I was wondering about you this evening.

Glad you posted and are recovering.

Take care and take it easy..the first week is a little rough..but each day gets better..that is for sure!

Thanks everyone!! Your kind words of encouragement mean the world to me.

I was discharged today and arrived home around 4pm. So far my nausea is under control and I'm not in much pain. My incision sites look great and I am able to walk often. My drain was taken out before I left the hospital. YIPPIE Even with the complication of my nicked liver, I feel pretty good.

I'm able to keep down everything I've tried and I'm on a 2 week full liquid diet, followed by 2 weeks of pureed diet, followed by 2 weeks of mechanically soft, then finally I get to move onto a full diet.

So excited for this journey and can't believe it's already begun.
