What's Your Workout Today VSGers? - HUMP DAY!
I know, and I've had both experiences too - great workouts or really bad ones. I don't know what it is about this class, but I just do not feel comfortable in it even after going for months. I like the workouts, but there's something about it that makes me feel really anxious. I do not feel this way in kettlebells or at other classes I've taken, including kickboxing at another gym. Ugh, I just want to go take a nap :)
The class isn't run there anymore. There are other gyms that do MMA and kickboxing style workouts near me. Maybe I should check them out. Everyone is really nice at this gym, but I don't think it's a good fit for me. I just want to get a good workout in; I'm not looking to be a fighter, and I think the emphasis on fighting and the fact that most of the class are actual fighters makes me anxious and uncomfortable. Bruises don't bother me. I'm a walking disaster zone, so if I wasn't getting bruised on bags, I'd be getting bruised on something else.
