I missed my Orange Theory class this morning. I've got a lot on my plate today but somehow I am going to get 2 workouts in today.

Workout #1 - Chest and Shoulders

Workout #2 - Not sure yet, but I will figure something out.

Probably spinning tonight.  I did my first TRX last night and I like to alternate my strength and cardio.  I thought I was in good shape until I went to TRX and realized I am an uncoordinated mess on those TRX straps!

TRX requires some good core strength to look pretty. The good news is you will get that core strength very quickly if you keep doing it.

I certainly plan to keep doing it.  My core is my weakest part of my body and I intend to fix that!  Plus, I love a difficult class where I leave feeling like a sweaty mess.

Kettlebells.  He changed the regular Tuesday workout to Thursdays, so I'm excited for tonight.  The actual exercises vary, but it's a bunch of different ones repeated three times so the class goes by so quickly.

I'm still just doing my walking during breaks and at lunch time at work.  Putting in about an hour of walking now.

I did resistance band this morning. I think I've been doing some of my resistance band exercises incorrectly and when I adjusted my positions I found them much harder. I have a weak left arm with damage and my doctor and I agree that strength training could help a lot. But I got a little discouraged today because I realized I'm not as far along as I thought because some of those exercises were too painful for my arm and I couldn't do but 3 or 6 at a time.

Walked for 32 minutes at lunch time (1.9 miles).

Regular Zumba class (not aqua)...haven't been to this since early summer, so really excited!

Jenn   Highest weight: 278. Starting weight: 275. Surgery weight: 253. Month 1: 25 lbs. Month 2: 8.8 lbs. Month 3: 12.6 lbs. Month 4: 7 lbs. Onederland 7/29/2013. Month 5: 7 lbs. Month 6: 5 lbs. Months 7-9: self-induced maintenance, then 5 lb gain.
