What's Your Workout Today VSGers? - Wednesday!
I am ashamed to say that I have yet to get my ass to the gym since my appendix surgery a month ago. However, with my busy double work schedule of 13-14hr work days I manage to do my best to do some squats, walks, and STAIRS galore- well as much as I can. I LOVE LOVE the fact I can take the stairs up and down at my 2nd job and NOT get winded. I know that just going up and down them a few times a day is NOTHING compared to a gym but hey, I make sure I dont SIT SIT SIT all day long. I am going to start doing that little 5 minute work out again in the mornings, and probably at night before bed, you told me about a while ago. Once my 2nd job's hours open up my ass will be back to that gym in a heart beat. Sometimes I wish there was a 24hr fitness place by me. But, where there's a will, there's a way!
Well at least you are thinking about it, just don't forget about it. You probably have another 2 weeks before you should be doing anything strenuous anyway after your appendix surgery. You want 6 to 8 weeks before doing any weight training for sure.
Get back into it girl, don't let work become your excuse. I just started back to a client that keeps be occupied 40 hours a week and its an hour drive each way, this is in addition to my 3 other clients that get between 25 and 40 hours a week and I have managed to get my workouts in. Its not easy, I am exhausted and I am still trying to fit it all in.
You will find a way.
Went to Lucille Robert's last night and did 30 minutes on the elliptical and a 45 minute butt and gutt class! We did A LOT of squats and hardcore ab workouts...needless to say I am sore today and taking a rest day haha.
band to sleeve revision and loving life!
You do you, and I'll do me
