Could it possibly be a hernia? Did this happen after exercise? or did it happen after eating too much?

Keith, you are all wise!!!! They didn't repair the hernia when I had surgery because they said in their experience, its better healing when doing separate and if there was complications, they would know exactly what went wrong where.  So, yes, it could be this, I didn't think about that, thank you!!!!!

I forgot to mention I have been doing some lifting at work as I stock up the food pantry we have, so it could be from this.  Thanks again.

That would be my guess. You may want to try wearing a compression belt or waist trimmer. It won't trim your waist but they are good for fairly comfortably holding hernias in place while you work or exercise.
