I just love you.  When are you coming to TX?  I need a hug and we need to go get some drinks and party :) 

There is a much higher chance of you coming to Geneva than me to Texas unfortunately....come visit! I will organize all the drinks and partying and hugs and there is a hot tub in my garden....tempted?

I don't live in TX, I live in AUSTIN.  :)  OK, I'm way more than tempted.  Hot tub in a garden sounds DELIGHTFUL.  My hubs will totally be on board.  He has a huge love of hot tubs.  I will need to get to work on a Geneva trip.  OH!  OH!  A company we manage investments for is actually moving headquarters to Switzerland.  I bet I can actually swindle a "work-related" trip in the next year or two.  That would be fabulous!

Aww, Deena it is so obvious you all had a great time. It is so nice to connect with everyone and let your hair down. You look amazing, especially as Betty Page! I know what you mean about feeling like the fat girl on the inside. Maybe that will change one day when you have been skinny longer than you were fat? Or maybe you don't want to lose the fat girl inside? She can be a help or a hindrance I am sure and I know you know how to manage that one! You are definitely a cool chick to all of us. No doubt about it.

I sometimes want to lose her, but the majority of the time I'm grateful for her.  She grounds me, keeps me real, keeps me working hard.  She IS me.  It's the same with realizing I was happy.  After spending so many years of being miserable, finally getting the therapy I so desperately needed, and owning who I am and what I want, I realized I'm still a loudmouthed, contrary, slightly grumpy, sarcastic person.  Just a happy loudmouthed grump :)  Love you, chickadee, and I missed you!  I really wish you had been able to make it

It is so awesome and profound that you love your fat self and your skinny self - one in the same person. Stay grounded. You are perfect the way you are. I missed being with you too.

Deena - you are the BEST Bettie Page I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot!).  You are simply stunning and I echo what another poster wrote when they said you are model-gorgeous.  Wowza, girl

Aww, thank you so much!  She's the only celebrity I ever thought I looked even slightly like, so I'm very happy that I made a decent Bettie Page.  :)  One of my new "mini-goals" is to do boudoir shots after plastics a la Bettie Page complete with whip

It truly was a great conference with beautiful people. And I mean beautiful inside and out!  Lovely to see you again my friend.
