Orange Theory This morning - I am sick today so I only burned 501 calories, I was a bit disappointed but at least I didn't vomit. You are only as strong as you ability not to puke.

Chest and Shoulders tonight if I can shake the sick feeling.

I'm hoping to get to kettlebells tonight.  I slept terribly, and I'm pretty sure I'm running a fever because of the chills.

OK, OK.  I'll take my temp, and I'll rest if it's actually a fever.  I might have to rest regardless since I'm having a hard time even walking.  Sigh.

Thnx for the excused absence from a workout today, lol. I had a super workout yesterday but man am I sore today! Working 12 hours so we will see if I'm able to swing a home workout later tonight.

Started with a 60 minute Total Body Melt class then a 60 minute Insane Circuit Training class.

I'm wiped out now.  I got the flu shot this weekend and it has knocked me for a loop.  I'm hoping to just ignore it, but it hasn't gone away yet. lol

  I'm not where I want to be, but I am closer than I was yesterday!

That's a lot of intense workout, make sure you get a rest day now and then too. See above for when you should NOT workout.

Something else you need to be careful about is exercise burn out. Exercise is something you want to sustain over time, if you are knocking yourself out now you risk coming to hate and resent any exercise. If you are enjoying it then its a different story, just be careful.

I am SO excited to finally be able to post here!

I met with a trainer over the weekend and have a brand new workout plan.  I was out of bed bright and early and to the gym before work.  Today the focus was on arms.  Modified push ups, "push-planks", tricep curls, chest flys, lateral arm raises, shoulder press....and one more that I can't remember the name of.  And to fini**** off I did 15 minutes on the elliptical.  

I was a *little* discouraged that I let myself get so weak in the last few years.  I used to be fairly fit.  But...I can't dwell on the past.  I will get there (and surpass it!) in time.
