I threw my back out friday night :(  so I haven't been able to really move much at all this weekend.  I feel guilty, but know I need to wait til I get it fixed.  I see the chiropractor tomorrow (closed today for the holiday).  I have been trying to at least do slight arm toning exercises to keep moving, but it doesn't feel like enough.  hopefully I will be better in a couple days and can back to the gym.  I miss it!

I'm not where I want to be, but I am closer than I was yesterday!

Don't mess around with an injured back. No more arm toning. If you do any exercise at all (which I strongly advise against) do not do anything more than a slow walk.

Everything is connected to your back and continuing to exercise before it is fully healed is just asking for long term trouble. I have hurt my back a couple of times since working out and the best thing for it is to take 3 or 4 rest days before trying again. No amount of weight loss is worth a recurring back injury. You will get past it and you will be able to exercise better because of it. Take the time. Trust me on this.

Ok, I will take the time to rest.  I just hate the guilt that comes along with it.  I have missed the gym for a few days already and I feel super guilty and feel like I am failing by just sitting here.  Ugh.  Hope I heal quickly! :)

I'll find a positive.... I can clear out the recordings on my tv that I never stop to watch anymore! lol

OK, feel guilty when you skip because you are lazy, not injured. The fact that you are thinking about it and wanting to go is winning not failing.
