dense protien ounces per meal
I am over 2 months out and I eat 2 oz. of protein and an additional ounce of vegetable. It takes me a while to eat it though and if I eat too fast I will get that yucky too full feeling. I just pretty much take a bite or two and just chill for a while and then do the same until I'm done. Sometimes I don't fini**** all so I save the vegetable portion for last. I was told I can't get in more than 3 oz. at a sitting so I do not veer off that. My stomach is not swollen anymore although everyone's is different and may take a bit longer so 3 oz. may be too much. Sun. morning I had a hard boiled egg and I took a few bites and just could not eat anymore...and I love hard boiled eggs so...go figure. If you feel good with what you got going then I wouldn't get too crazy. I do have an easier time with more fish than with other proteins...maybe because it's easier to chew before I swallow...I have a big tongue and it makes it difficult to chew to pieces before I have to swallow a bit.
After reading the other posts, I was starting to think I was the only "newbie" that was eating more than 2 oz of protein in a meal. You're not too much further along than I am, so it's good to see someone that can eat about the same!! :)

The first couple months- 1.5-1.75 over a 30 min meal time was it.. maybe a couple green beans,6mo, I was up to 2oz, more with things like shrimp. Now at 2.5 years.. 3oz to a max of 4 if all alone,is done. I seem to get more in if I eat it with veggies, esp if sauced. I can eat about 6-8oz in total volume in a normal sitting, more if I peck at it. That includes my protein, 2 veg and all the good bits that I throw in (I may not eat much, but it's never boring!)
I can eat up to 2 ounces of seafood, more like 1.5 ounces of chicken, beef, turkey etc. I am almost 4 months out.
