Weird But Interesting Video on Nutritional Ketosis - Take It For What Its Worth
This caught my eye on YouTube yesterday after I had watched a video describing the macro nutrient ratio of a true Ketogenic diet which is very heavy in fat and much lower in protein and very low in carbs. Think Atkins on steroids. The interesting take away from the video is how the guy never eats, is never hungry, and never has cravings.
Now don't take this as substantive research, it doesn't sound like it is. I don't even know if this guy is any more qualified than I am to make these claims as I don't recall that he states his qualifications. He does mention that he is writing a book about cholesterol so he must have some knowledge of nutrition or biology. Anyway, take this video for what it is worth but what kept me watching is this guy actually failed several times on low carb diets.
Fair warning the guy is kinda weird. All the same it is prompting me to do some further research although I don't really have any desire to eat that much fat as it sounds kinda gross. But I will be reading the book he references and looking into the two guys who wrote it.
