yup, started walking!  and in a week...I'll be fitbit forcing, too!

I'm on my way to a 10 minute break and to walk up 3 flights of stairs.

I have been walking, riding my bike and getting on the Wii. But not consistently so yell away!!!!

I am definitely a slacker in the exercise department. I know the weight is not going to come off with eating less alone, but not motivated enough to exercise daily.

I have good intentions, can talk a good game, but then when the time comes I have a thousand excuses. I know this about myself, can admit it and really trying to overcome it. It's a struggle for me, but I will get there at some point.

Oh, I almost forgot, I have the beginner 30 day chart you sent out and I try and do that. In the privacy of my room. Believe me I look freaking crazy trying to do jumping jacks and squats now. Definitely not like it used to be in 7th grade gym class when everything was easy.

I do appreciate your posts and walk away with "I can do that" feeling.

I've started doing yoga again. It's only twice a week, but that's a start.  I was trying to increase my activity before--including doing some of your beginners exercises--but I have trouble exercising on my own because I always put it off until later and later never comes.  I do much better with classes where I have a set time and place I'm supposed to go, and I just follow the instructor and don't have to think about what exercises to do.  I'm having to modify a lot of the poses, but my instructor is good about giving alternatives for people with injuries.

That's great! Don't minimize what you are doing by saying "only". You are doing something and that's how it starts.

As for exercising on your own you have to start by scheduling it and tell yourself it's like missing a doctor appointment. Once you get started your body will take over from there. Your head just gets in the way.
