4 days post-op JP drain question
Since surgery I have had a tugging and pulling sensation in the right lower abdomen sometimes it feels like something moving in there, I have a JP drain, is this the other end of the drain I am feeling and will it go away when they take it out? Its the most uncomfortable sensation I have been feeling.

I just had my JP drain removed on Wednesday. The drain is much longer than what I thought mine was as far in as my diaphragm. I did feel tugging one of the things the hospital did was secure the bulb with a safety pin to my t shirt at a higher level so there would be minimal tugging.
once the drain us removed you will feel soooo much better.
I know its irritating and uncomfortable but soon it will be a faint memory. Hope this helps
