I have been so MIA but it's time to get back on the horse after the holidays! I wasn't THAT bad though :)
elliptical for 30 minutes and some weight training

I'm on day 8 of the 30 Day Shred (level one with some minor modifications to help my aging and creaky knees). I may do some cardio tonight after work just because I'm feeling kind of slothful.
And the thirty day shred will probably turn into the 90 Day Shred for me, since I think it will take me about 30 days to get through each of the levels to a point where I can comfortably do all the exercises. It's a great workout, I'm loving it and hating it at the same time!
35 minutes on treadmill 2.8 mph...used the hill climb program--does two hills, 0-15 grade first hill, down to 10 grade and back up to 13 grade and down to 0 over a 30 min period, then 5 min cool down. I carried 3 lb hand weights. On the lower grades, coordination permitting, I do curls and weight lifts to get my upper body involved.
With my climb in mind, I've been working on my cardio by doing a couch to 5K...I've completed 2 (or 3) full training days...which I think is pretty good since it took me 3 days to completely finish day 1. In between the days I'm doing couch to 5K (thanks for the app recommendation!) I'm walking hills on my treadmill.
I think I'm finally pushing myself a bit more.
