Clothes shopping
I hit the thrift shops yesterday and picked up a few more outfits. Shopping takes longer now, because the requirements have changed. It used to have to not cling to the fat rolls, and not look completely like something an 80-year old would wear. Now it has to fit and look good. I need to find my style now, because I have so many more options.
I finally gave up my last 3X article of clothing - a fleece jacket in a stupid blue floral print that was the only coat I could fit in AND afford. I bought it the day before my intake appointment for surgery. Yesterday I picked up this cute little quilted jacket, pink on the outside and tangerine on the inside, size XL. (Only $5)
Wow, beautiful! Clothes NSV's are my favorite non-health related Nsv!!!

Yeah for you! Thrift store shopping gets better and better, and I have had to limit myself these days! I used to buy things that looked okay and fit okay, but now I have to love them and the fit has to be just about perfect, or it has to be something so good I am willing to alter it. I also find myself asking if it is really worth paying almost $7 for pants at Goodwill. It's funny how the $3 and $4 tops don't bother me butte pants better be great for almost $10, have fun.
