I Worked Out Today, Did You? - Monday
I was careful, as I have absolutely no desire to hurt myself and further extend this friggin' recovery process! It did cause a bit of pain at first, but once I warmed up a bit and stretched out no issues at all... and after I was done everything felt better than it did before I started. So, it seems all good! Doc said on Saturday (during a 30 minute lecture on not diving into exercises because I have a bit of a history of blowing out stitches due to exercising) that I still can't do the elliptical- bummer, as that is my favorite. Also, I have been dying to try yoga, but it seems that will have to wait quite a while. That's Ok though, at least I can walk now!

Don't sell yourself short! 2.8 to 3.5 since Christmas is HUGE. I don't walk at 3.5 now. I walk at a 3. 3.5 is too fast of a walk but too slow of a jog so I am either 3 or 5 and 5 is starting to feel a bit too slow. But it took me quite a while to get from 2.8 to 3 so feel pretty good about it.
The key to not shooting off the back is to pump your arms back and forth it will help you keep your balance and give you a small added cardio benefit too.
