I was careful, as I have absolutely no desire to hurt myself and further extend this friggin' recovery process!  It did cause a bit of pain at first, but once I warmed up a bit and stretched out no issues at all... and after I was done everything felt better than it did before I started.  So, it seems all good!  Doc said on Saturday (during a 30 minute lecture on not diving into exercises because I have a bit of a history of blowing out stitches due to exercising) that I still can't do the elliptical- bummer, as that is my favorite.  Also, I have been dying to try yoga, but it seems that will have to wait quite a while.  That's Ok though, at least I can walk now!

Way to go on the sprint!

Glad to have the holidays over.  Not having a set schedule has really messed me up.  Time to buckle down!

Tonight I am doing Spin Class.  That will kick my a$$ into gear!!

Keith L. I bought myself a treadmill for Christmas and have worked myself up from at 2.8 pace to 3.5... Not a big difference but walking 40 minutes. To be 100% honest my main goal right now is not shooting off the back :)!!!! My kids watch hoping it might happen!

Don't sell yourself short! 2.8 to 3.5 since Christmas is HUGE. I don't walk at 3.5 now. I walk at a 3. 3.5 is too fast of a walk but too slow of a jog so I am either 3 or 5 and 5 is starting to feel a bit too slow. But it took me quite a while to get from 2.8 to 3 so feel pretty good about it.

The key to not shooting off the back is to pump your arms back and forth it will help you keep your balance and give you a small added cardio benefit too.

I'm on day 24 of the squat challenge 225, did them right before bed time, it was a long day. I gain 8.4 lbs, a grand daughter, my first girl. I kicked my squats up to 250 in thanking God for my lady bug's health.
