Thanks Keith!  I just finished day 3 of the daily burn and I'm starting with their true beginner.  I feel really good when I'm exercising with no symptoms from blood pressure.  I did the chair push-ups today (it was in the video), they were really hard.  Only got 22 in, in one minute, but I wasn't even sure I could do that before I started it.  Thanks for doing these kinds of posts, they're very encouraging.  The what did you eat today posts, are nice too, I need all kinds of ideas on different foods to eat.  Oh I did lots of squats and lunges in that workout.  I'm sure I'll feel it at work tomorrow.

On squats the best thing you could do for yourself it get to the best squat you can do as quickly as you can and form is absolutely critical here. There is a fitness personality that I reference frequently when talking about squats because she has excellent form and a great technique. You squat should look something like this:

Here is a video of Jen Selter doing squats. Watch how deep she goes and watch the little hip thrust at the top, that hip thrust is key. Also you will want to get as deep as you can. Yes it is hard and seems impossible now, but I promise if you focus on it, in as little as a month you will be able to do it.

Around 22 seconds into the video she starts demonstrating squats. She does them a couple of times I think in the video.
