My name is Tracy...and I'm a snackaholic!
Definitely not and I'm sure there's more "lurkers" on here that can relate to us :)
band to sleeve revision and loving life!
You do you, and I'll do me
Just returned from a check-up with my surgeon. WL is slowing down because of my poor choices. So today I am back on track. So eager to get rid of these last 30 pounds.
By the way, you're funny and I totally relate. 😊
This is something that I fear... I eat 3 meals a day and 1-2 snacks, depending on the day... I wasn't ever a snacker pre op either, but now I feel like I'm eating all the time! The scale is moving, but I know that snacking is a SCARY slope. I admire you for taking charge before things get out of hand!

Sounds like you are getting a handle on it, which is great! I too am having this problem, but I notice that its not constant (so that is good), I have a bad day or so, but then I jump back on and get back on track. I too, should do the "What are you eating today posts" maybe I'll see you there.

thank you so much for posting. I can totally relate to everything in your post. I did not snack before surgery, but as you said who needed to with the volume I was eating. The snacking did not become an issue until I was in maintenance at about 17 months. I gained some weight as the snacking became grazing. I then did the 5 day pouch test and well the cravings stopped and the hunger stopped. What I learned is I have a working sleeve great restriction as long as I work it. I had a rough time yesterday and wanted to snack. I think as long as I can not act on my feelings I am hoping the obsession will be better. So 3 meals and 1 protein snack for me. I hope we can check in with each other to support and keep each other accountable. Thanks again. I think your post gave many a wake up call.
Thanks so much, Drea - I really appreciate people with more experience and time under their belt chiming in and letting me know if I'm on track or not. And it's important for us newbies to understand that this kind of thing can get out of hand at ANY point in our journey.
Here's to a great weekend for both of us! :-)
Thanks for sharing. This is absolutely one of my biggest fears and a reason that I'm afraid to snack right now...even though my protein is on the lower end of what my nutritionist would like to see. I can't eat more at meals...but I'm afraid to add another eating time. I wonder if I should just add a 2nd protein shake. It's all so confusing and frightening!
