What a windstorm you went through. You are so strong! I can't believe your daughter was hurt that bad and the guy said NOTHING! I'm glad you and your daughter are getting better now.

You've had a tough time of it for sure. It's a very good sign that you can out things in perspective so soon after. Your journey to a better life is sure to be worth it and I'm glad you can see that so early out.

Oh my gosh! You did it! And all the GIFs in your story were hysterical. If you can't laugh, well, you know the rest.

Okay. Where I'm from, you know what we'd say about that "father" who let your child suffer? He straight TRIPPIN. THAT'S what we would say. And I'm telling you right now: When I got a little stronger (okay, a LOT stronger), I would have to call that "man" out. I mean SERIOUSLY. You know, mother bear, blah blah blah.

All I know is, there aren't many people who can tell the story of how they had their PANCREAS operated on. MAJOR kudos to you and your support system (worldly and otherwise)!

I think the best piece of this story is that you continued on your journey -- for you.  I have four kids.  I have had broken bones.  I get wanting to be there for your daughter but moving forward and being positive in light of more challenging recovery strikes me as a real chance to claim what you want for yourself.  Bravo!
