Plastic surgery before & after photos! - less than 2 weeks post op.
You look amazing! I'm still in the beginning of my WL journey, but I am already setting up a plastic surgery fund. Definitely want any loose stomach skin to go and want to get rid of my "bat wings".
Did insurance help with surgery or was it all out of pocket? How did you find a surgeon and what was the process like?
All out of pocket. I didn't even bother with insurance since my "issues" were all cosmetic. No insurance company will cover purely cosmetic surgeries. I actually did consults with all the surgeons my local support group recommended. I also did personal research on the two I liked, and I had a second consult with the surgeon I chose to ask him additional questions that came up. I wanted to be sure I really trusted him. I liked my surgeon bc he has a lot of experience with bodies like ours, a very honest and no BS approach, and he's a total perfectionist. He was critiquing his work while showing me before and afters. We also have a great rapport which is good since there are so many follow up appointments
You look amazing and terrifying all at the same time! I hope to do the same someday! I'm over 1/2 way down and over the weekend my Hubby and I were having sex and I looked down at my hanging boobs and cracked up laughing at them!
