*insert silly whining here*
I'm about 3.5 months out and have been having pains in both upper abdominal quadrants and bilateral mid-upper back pains. They've ruled out my gallbladder, so now the surgeon wants me to do full liquids for two weeks to see if I eat too fast or take too big bites (which I probably do). But, I still get the pain even when I don't eat. I'll wake up sometimes and just have it. If the pain persists through thw next two weeks, then we'll do some more imaging and tests.
But I'm a whiny little pity party participant and don't want to go back to liquids. WAHHHH! Yes, I know it's for my health and I have to do it, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. And I'm starting a new job with long hours next week. I'm afraid I'll lose my energy quickly on liquids only.
Ok, whining done! I will start liquids tomorrow.
Awwww that Totaly stinks......I'm sorry... buy like u said you know you have to do it.... it will go fast and maybe u will have some answers .. good luck with everything.... hope your feeling better real soon... ohhhh and as far as your surgeon goes with the new job...maybe he can give you a b 12 shot...
Good luck...
That's a thought! My B12 level is pretty good right now, but maybe I can add something to my vitamins to help. I think I need to just focus on my intake now more than ever so optimize my energy and make sure I feel "satisfied". I'm going to stick with my protein drinks, and probably Greek yogurt since I was allowed that on my full liquid phase. maybe I'll make a pot of soup, too. I can do this!
Do you have reflux? When mine is bothering me it totally makes my mid-upper back hurt. It also bothers me in my upper chests/low throat area. Just an idea... When it first bothered me years ago they immediately suspected gallbladder from the area I talked about, but is wasn't. I hope they figure it out quick!

Have you been checked for a hiatal hernia? I have one and at first thought I was having a heart attack. It's most painful at night. I am on reflux medication for it. It's been repaired but it came back. My surgeon actually told me it would most likely come back. I drink a ton of water to pu**** back into place and that seems to work for me. Just a thought.
