Travel NSV...and Carb Question

I just returned from a trip around the world with my husband...and no seatbelt extender was required! Granted we flew Business Class, but before my surgery I needed an extender in First Class so this is a major NSV for me! I am down from a size 28/30 to an 18 and it feels amazing!

Regarding carbs, I am having serious cravings due to the weather cooling off and the holidays coming. I was just curious how everyone is kicking their cravings to the curb?

Congrats on your NSV! I just flew back from Paris a few weeks ago and was shocked that I could cross my legs in an airplane seat, so I know exactly how you feel. These upcoming holidays will be a real test for me. Last week I caved for 3 days (at desserts I brought back from Paris) and gained/loss those few pounds. After doing that, I realized that losing the weight tastes sweeter than any dessert. Yesterday I went out for a bowl of chili and it was the best with the impending weather. Maybe you can try something hot and spicy? I know a couple of sites that offer low carb desserts, I would mention them but they made cravings even worse. If you really want them, PM me and I will tell you.

I like the idea of hot and spicy chili! I think I will go that route instead of the desserts. I certainly don't need anything that will intensify my cravings.

And that is awesome about crossing your legs on the plane. I can't wait to be able to fit in a coach seat without a seatbelt extender. Although I am 5'10", so crossing my legs will probably never be an option! :-)

Lots of spicy hot tea (chai, cinnamon, etc.)  It feels wintery and warming without the sugar.
