Aggravated pre op sucked

Pre op sucked got my surgeons appt but it isn't until June 30th I was so planning for this month :( now I have 26 days to wait all over....They said I should get scheduled on the 30th and to.start my pre op diet tomorrow but then another nurse said he may want to.remove my gallbladder first??? If so won't I have to.wait a.long time before surgery???? Geeze im startling to get depressed here

Lots of surgeons look at the gallbladder while doing WLS, and take it out then if needed. Two-fers are pretty common.

You remind me so much of myself!  I was so eager to get my insurance approval and surgery scheduled.. Then it happened.  I was happy for a few days.  Now I am 13 days til surgery and a nervous wreck.  Part of me wants this over with and the other part has cold feet.  Just hang in there and don't think the worst.  I know that is VERY hard considering all of the emotions involved just with getting an insurance approval, but you are so close.  Once you have a concrete date the reality will set in.  Remember, all things happen for a reason.  Keep us updated!!!
