High-fiber, low-starch vegetables -- yea or nay?

Thanks, Frisco, for the information and the mouth-watering photos (I'm getting some head hunger now!). After I recovered from VSG surgery, I started and have stayed with a higher proportion of low-carb vegetables to protein in my diet than most sleevers, and the combo has worked well for me. I have no plans to change anything when I reach maintenance (15 pounds to go). My weight loss is still creeping along and I expect it will level off at my target weight without my changing anything about my diet. I love vegetables and am glad they play an important role in my weight goal and nutrition.

From all the responses so far, it would seem that everyone's tolerance of low-carb vegetables varies, but even in small quantities, they are worth including in for satiety, flavor and nutrition. Good to know.
