DOB: 9/27/68, West Memphis, Arkansas

I just found out from the State of Arkansas that they have NO record of my private adoption. Has anyone else gone thru this problem? If so....how can I find the appropiate information from whom? Do I try to find out who the attorney was and get info from him? Or does it have to go thru the Doctor-who is retired now. Any info would be great. Thanks Heather [email protected]
