OT...Personal Question....

My daughter is 15 years old and she started having stomach pains and fever this morning. I kept her home and my mother watched her while I was at work...she has had fever and diahreah all day...she just told me that she has blood in her stool..I've never heard of this before...(shes not on her period)...her fever has come down. she has taken Amodium twice today and it hasnt helped....any advice.....Thanks,Staci

I don't want to scare you but with the fever and blood in her stool you might want to take her to the ER or to a doc in the box. Hope she is better soon. Gail

I told her next time she goes to the bathroom to let me know so I can check it out my self, she seems to be doing better but the blood thing scares me....Staci

Hey Staci. If she has blood in her stool then she probably should see a doctor. How high was her fever? I would go ahead and her checked out to be on the safe side. Let me know if you need anything. Love, Linda
