Good morning my Alabama friends!!

Becky, thank you so much for obeying that still, small voice.  God knows our needs and this is proof that He loves us.  I am amazed at how much peace I have.  I know its a God thing.  And yet of course there are times when our emotions take over and we have to feel sorry for ourselves just a little bit. 

I really am doing well.  I don't start any teratments until the middle of October.  Monday I go back in for outpatient surgery to put the port in but I hear that is no big deal - just a day off from work to sleep!!! 

I will be praying for Dixie Dawn because I know that God wouldn't have impressed you too unless there is a need.

Well if it isn't the best looking man on the Alabama Board!!!    Did I say that?  And how is that beautiful wife of yours??  I've always thought Beth is one of the prettiest ladies I know.  She has a glow or something!!

My attitude is one of the first thing the Oncologist mentioned. He said it definitely plays a big part. I have such a great support group till there's no way I could go into this with a negative attitude. I have God and my family and friends on my side.

Hey there Vickie,

You have been on my mind a lot lately.  You don't say much but I know you have to be so dissapointed about your surgery being postponed.  It's going to happen - I have no doubt about that.  And it may be when you least expect it.  I know you are holding on and I'm praying for you.

I miss being on the board on a regular basis.  We don't have a home computer.  Leo and I just don't really have much need for one other than for work.  And I've missed so much work lately till I really have to put it in overdrive to get everything done when I am in the office. 

I can't wait to meet you in person and I know that's going to happen.  You are the one that is amazing.  You make us all smile and what better testimony than that.

I love that quote.  It fits me well.  I have several surgical scars.  I hate them.  But after reading this quote I don't mind them so much anymore.
