Walk from Obesity..

What a time we had!!!!
We had such a great time!! We left around 6am this morning.. had coffee.
And then made the long trek. We had health checks, bone density, blood work..
We won door prizes.. Cynthia won a 30 minute scenic airplane ride!!!!!! I won a 1 month curves membership and a Facial and discount at the Spa.
Sandi won a gym membership and a Unjury t-shirt!!
They had water (which they handed out at the track as we walked) and so many protein samples (cereal, cheese sticks. fruit)

Our team had the most people and we go****erbottles and then we got to speak.. so of course we plugged Obesity Help, Weigh Down and told them of our Walk for Donna Taylor. We were give a t-shirt for Donna's family and one for Tim. I will be getting those in the mail.

We made lots of new friends.. let them know about the cruise which they are excited and might have some more book!! And we were invited to come speak at their support group and several wanted my Weighdowner newsletter! We were also asked to help do the Obesity Walk next year!!!! This was their 4th year! :-)

Sounds like yall had a GREAT walk also my friend. We had 175 people signup online for our walk and we had 145 walking today..isnt that GREAT!!! Randy Slade from the ASMBS drove up last night for Gainsville FL  for our walk today..he said we was #3 for top funds raised this year in the walk from obesity..SO FAR!! I am so EXCITED and have had so much fun being apart of OUR CAUSE!!  I am already looking forward for our walk next year!!

Wow! I am so proud of you all!! We didn't have many but it was bayfest weekend not a good time to do it... next year will be even better though. I plan to come up Tuesday unless her condition changes. Spending time with family won't see me online much tonight or tommorrow. After the walk we had lunch at Olive Garden the new flat bread is amazing.. Cynthia got it and we tried it. We went shopping and I got the book The Love Dare featured in Fireproof the movie..can't wait to use it when I get home to my WODERFUL SUPPORTIVE hubby!! I am so blessed!! See you soon!! We will have coffee..Morris isn't that far from Adamsville!

Your walk had CHEESE?  CHEESE? WE LOVE CHEESE!!!  But, we had bananas and the GIRLS love bananas!!! So there, my jealous was short lived.

Yeah they had those cheese sticks (mozerella and the twist ones) and then bananas and oranges (cut in halves).. protein cereal (several flavors - we brought some home!) and protein crackers!

I bet those girls had a blast too!!! Jacob sure did! He so loved Donna so for him to walk in her honor today just fit for him.
